Site Discover Indonesia				I am a French citizen, who worked in Indonesia from 1995 to 1998, I started this website during that time. I am today back to my native country, but the interest to Indonesia is still very high. I learnt step by step to love this country, or this mosaic of islands. When you arrive and being a European, it is like a cultural shock.
						This boat is progressing to the Green Canyon, a spectacular place, south of Bandung, near Pengandaran.
				But month after month, you start to understand the values and the beliefs of the People of Indonesia. I lived in Jakarta, the large and busy capital city. The jobs were easier to be found there, and a continuous flow of farmers or small towns inhabitants increased every year by hundreds of thousands a population already close to 10 millions. But after the monetary crisis of 1997, life became tough even in the capital town. Discovering Indonesia, the country and its culture was a wonderful experience.
