Season 1: THE YOUNG GOKÛ

The young Son Gokû, who is living in the mountains, in the middle of nowhere, meet Bulma, who convince Gokû to join her in the 7 Dragon Balls quest.

Bulma and Gokû	Kame Sennin or the Turtles Hermit

After having defeated Pilaf and his band who are willing to dominate the Earth, Gokû becomes the student of Kame Sennin (亀仙人), the Master of the Turtles or the Turtles Hermit. To test if his training was efficient, Son Gokû decided to participate at the Tenka Ichi Budokaî Tournament. For his first competition Gokû was succesful enough to score as the second best participant!

Gokû reached the Final of the Tenka Ichi Budôkai...	... and for his first time as a participant of this tournament, he finished in the second position.
