Spices and Spice Routes: Magellan, Vasco da Gama opened the way to Spices Islands. Today they are names the Malukku Islands and belong to Indonesia, the major cities are Ambon and Ternate. Spices are still important for their economy but far less than before. They are wonderful places to discover and you can still learn a lot on spices and their importance few centuries ago. This site bring to you the history of this archipelago and it is an introduction to travel and enjoy the Spice Island.
